For those of you that are getting impatient about another blog here are some pictures and a short update. I have been out of town in FL trying to find a home for my family so that is why I have not posted in a while.
Quick update: MC is doing well. Her feeds are progressing back up and her breathing is going much better than it was before (not bouts of turning blue). She also got her vocal chords checked today because they were worried since she hadn’t really cried yet. The concern was that when she had the PDA surgery they may have paralyzed her vocal chords (don’t ask me how it works but somehow the nerve for your vocal chords is near your heart, isn’t the human body crazy). No worries though the vocal chords work fine so MC will be crying and talking before you know it (hopefully not as much as Mom but that is just my own secret little prayer). So that is the abbreviated update from Wisconsin. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life. Thanks again for all you all do.

You may be a little surprised to get this message, but we have been checking your blog just about everday since Heather told us of little MaryCate.
We too have been praying for her.
We thought it was about time to let you know that prayers are even coming from Michigan.
Her pictures are adorable and she looks like she is doing really good.
We will continue to pray for both of you as well as for her.
