We are back into the swing of things around here, but managed to really enjoy our christmas break, as crazy as it was. I flew with all three children ON MY OWN, to Wisconsin the day MC got out of school and Chris met us there a few days later since he had some basketball games. We enjoyed a very little bit of snow in WI standards, but plenty for these Florida folks. Got to make a fun snowman, do a bit of sledding and even learn how to make snow angels.
Speaking of Angels, MC was one in her class production and had a line that she performed and was QUITE proud of herself....as were we. The pictures will tell most of what we have been up to and what we did on our break. Lots of time with cousins and family....and Landon seemed to fit right into the chaos. although it was nuts at times, we had a great time!!
There are a couple pictures from a train ride we took here in Florida to the "North Pole"---the kids were thrilled and had a blast. We also did our annual Polar Express movie night in our backyard for our friends and neighbors. We had a much bigger turnout this year, and probably had about 60-70 people in our yard.....and it was FUN!!
We are in the thick of basketball season at the moment and so time with Daddy is far and in between but we have enjoyed going to some games and seeing him when we can. Funny story----Chris is trying to build support among the high school for his team and thought he would motivate them by promising to shave his head if more than 75 kids came to the game last Friday night......(this is more than 1/3 of the upper school where he teaches).....well they got that...and then some, so.....needless to say he is also bald. The funny part is that they did it at chapel on Monday and MC's teacher thought it would be sweet to being her whole class so that they could see him getting his head shaved, problem was no one, including myself, anticipated my sweet sensitive daughter that burst into hysterical tears when they began shaving his head. Hoping that she is not scarred for life but she does continue to ask me if there is any way we might "glue it back on." Enjoy the pis----the 1st few are from a photo shoot a good friend of mine did for the girls and I could not pick just a few, sorry!
