Wandering Travelers

That is what we feel like these days!! We have had a great couple of weeks so far. I am pretty sure I left my camera cord at home so I will post pictures once we get back to Fort Myers. The drives have not been that awful, all things considered. MaryCate has been quite sick of the car after each lag, but done quite well considering she is 2, and sitting in a car seat all day is not her idea of FUN.

Virginia was great. We spent the week visiting with lots of old friends, going to the pool where our good friend works and even got a babysitter one night so we could go out with friends. It was quite refreshing, and although the weather was still a bit warm, it was wonderful to see so many people.

Our drive to Wisconsin was beautiful. Through the mountains of VA and WV especially!! We arrived to lots of family and MC is really enjoying spending lots of time with her cousins. We are looking forward to the parade and party in WhitefishBay tomorrow for the 4th. MC has already been to the hospital to visit her favorite nurses and I am sure we may stop in again since we'll be home for a few more weeks. Chris leaves on Tuesday, so we will miss him, but he will be busy getting things ready to take kids to Young Life camp and going. Will continue to post, but like I said with no camera cord, it's not as exciting!! Happy 4th of July!
